Trail Sister Approved

We are a Trail Sisters-approved race and offer an equal opportunity for female runners with female-specific swag, equal podium spots and prize money, menstrual products at aid stations, and equal space at the starting line.

Hundred K Relay

The relay race is open to teams of three: an all-male team, an all-female team, and a coed team.  Every team will be issued one chip. The chip must cross the finish line 6 times, and the handoff must occur at the finish/start line-not mid-trail. Teams will determine the order of runners and laps. The race headquarters is perfect for teams and crews to relax and hang out while their teammates run. When registering, the team captain will register and pay for the entire team. A female must run at least two of the six loops as a coed team.

Want to run the relay but need a whole team?  Contact us; we'll help match you with other compatible runners to make your team.

Course

This is a single-tract trail, with approximately 1300 feet of

climbing per loop for a total of 7,800 feet for the 100k.  There are no

long hills, but there are plenty of small hills.

The mid-course aid stations will be available approximately miles 3 and 7 in the

10.3-mile loop.

The other aid station is at the beginning /end of each loop, which is the low

spot of the course.  It's also the crew and relay area.

View the course here.

Packet Pickup

We will be at Hurricane City Park at the Big Red Barn on Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and again on Saturday morning from 5:15 to 6:00 at the shelter's start line.

Aid Stations

We’ll have three aid stations, one at the start/finish and two on the course. The on-course aid stations will be accessible around mile 3 and mile 7 of the 10.3-mile loop. It will have water, electrolytes, Coke, ginger ale, plenty of ice, and a variety of sweet and salty food like fruit, cookies, candy, chips, pretzels, etc.

The central aid station has the same as above, plus popsicles, broth, ramen, tater tots, pancakes, and quesadillas (gluten-free and regular of those last two).  Hot and Ready pizza from our friends at Little Caesars begins at 11:00.  Crew and families are welcome to the pizza, donuts all day, and the ice cream in the afternoon.  This start/finish and crew area is also where you’ll have access to your drop bags and crew and porta pots with a ladies-only restroom.
