In short, the proposed AEP upgrade threatens significant impact on our trails. If you'd like to share your opposition to the planned upgrade route, please do the following:

ATTEND THE COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE EVENTS:
1. Tuesday, August 13 from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Valley Park Conference Center, 1 Valley Park Drive Hurricane, WV 25526
2. Wednesday, August 14 from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Winfield Community Center, 178 Second Street Winfield, WV 25213
WRITE & CALL AEP (contact below) & YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS!
1. We need as many of YOU as possible to write and call EVERYONE on the list. It will take 30 minutes of your day to send a note and make a call, but the impact could be invaluable. Our elected officials and AEP NEED to KNOW how important this trial system is to our community.

We encourage everyone to be respectful in their communications and share how these trails have impacted you and/or your family. For reference -

32 miles of hand built trail
-26,000 volunteer hours
Never been done before in 4/5 years with zero funds except for blood and sweat equity
One of if not the largest green space areas conveniently located to this size of a population 500 acres
